3rd Annual Carmel Valley Wine Festival
A Huge Success!
The third annual CVWF offered wine tasting from local featured wineries such as Bernardus, Chateau Christina, Galante, Heller Estate, Joullian, Parsonage Village Vineyard, Talbott and more! Food provided by Corkscrew Café and Casanova Restaurant had everyone coming back for more!
We had a few select neighboring Monterey wineries as our special guests and the gathering was casual yet elegant. Although small in ticket availability,
the festival boasted a turnout. Proceeds from the Quarter Barrel Wine Auction and the Live Auction went to the Carmel Valley Community Center.
The 4th Annual Carmel Valley Wine Festival will be held Saturday, October 4th, 2003. Tickets came be purchased on-line or by calling 831/659-6010.

The Georis Story
The Georis family is working on a book about the history of Casanova Restaurant. The book's author, Linda Holland, has begun writing the story of the Georis family from interviews with Denise, Gaston, and Walter Georis. Check back soon for release date!
